Conduit between Edwards and Klopp on one side, and principal owner John W Henry and his Fenway Sports Group on the other. Manager Jurgen Klopp has said: “In FSG, he’s the LFC man.” Had announced he would be stepping down from club duties in 2022/23, but subsequently returned.

Made an unexpected return to Liverpool in March 2023. His role as CEO of Football involves not only “leadership for Liverpool FC’s football operation” but also supporting the growth of Fenway Sports Group (FSG) in global football “through additional investment and acquisition.” Edwards had originally joined Liverpool from Tottenham in November 2011 as Head of Analytics. Went on to become their Director of Technical Performance, then Technical Director, then Sporting Director. On his watch, Liverpool won seven major trophies, including the Champions League and a first league title in 30 years.

Second spell with Liverpool, having stepped down as Sporting Director in summer of 2023. Had joined from Manchester City as European Scouting Manager for Spain and Portugal in October 2012. Promoted to Loan Pathways and Football Partnership Manager in 2015 and to Assistant Sporting Director in December 2020. Stepped up to replace Edwards in top job in summer of 2022. Left a year later but returned in May 2024.

Joined from Bournemouth at the end of 2023/24. Made 185 appearances for Bournemouth as a player before joining the club’s recruitment set-up in the summer of 2014. Two years later was appointed as their Technical Director. Knows Edwards from his time as a player at Portsmouth, from 2003 to 2009. FSG’s CEO of Football was Head of Analysis at Pompey at the time and the duo have stayed in touch ever since.

Had originally joined the club in October 2014 as Scouting and Recruitment Manager and went on to become Head of Football Projects and Scouting (from October 2017) and Director of Loan Management (from December 2020).

Arrived in June 2024 after three highly successful seasons with Feyenoord. Led them to the league title in 2023 and twice named Eredivisie Manager of the Year. Prior to this, Slot was AZ Alkmaar Head Coach and led them to second place in the table, trailing leaders Ajax only on goal difference when the Dutch season was cancelled due to Covid in 2019/20. Played as a midfielder for FC Zwolle, NAC Breda, Sparta Rotterdam and PEC Zwolle before hanging up his boots in 2013.

Appointed in July 2025. Had success as a manager in his own right since starting his coaching career in 2011 – winning one Eredivisie title and two Dutch cups with Feyenoord and the Scottish Cup with Rangers, who he also led to the Europa League final. Played for Feyenoord, Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona, winning one Premier League title, two Scottish Premier League titles, two La Liga titles and one Champions League.

Arrived at Anfield in summer of 2024, having been Slot’s number two at Feyenoord since 2022. Also served as Ronald Koeman’s assistant with Holland before stepping down from that position in 2024.

Joined in August 2025 from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro, where he was Assistant and also focused on transition of players from Academy to first team. Works across Liverpool’s First Team, U21s and U18s, as well as with the club’s youngsters who are out on loan.

Appointed in July 2025, returning to Anfield after a 15-year absence. First joined the club in 2007 under Rafael Benitez, leaving in 2010 to follow him to Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli and Real Madrid. Returned to English football in 2018 with West Ham.

Joined in July 2025, having previously spent almost a decade with Rangers (in Academy and first team). Also worked with the Scottish FA for more than a decade as a Goalkeeping Coach Educator. Supports Valero with the first-team keepers, as well as overseeing the loan strategies for younger keepers.

Joined as Club Doctor in December 2022. Was previously the England men’s doctor from 2017 to 2021 and matchday doctor at Brentford from 2019 to 2021. Promoted to head of unified medical and performance department in summer of 2024.

Has worked in sport since 2010 in rugby league with Huddersfield Giants, and moved into football in 2014 with Blackburn Rovers. Spent two years as club physician at Leicester Tigers, and seven years as club doctor at Derby County. First team doctor at Liverpool since July 2024.

Joined at start of 2024/25. Was First Team Physio at Manchester City for 16 years and Head Physio at Derby County for four years before joining Manchester United as Head Physio in January 2021. After leaving Old Trafford in February 2024, he worked for Rangers as a consultant physio for three months.

Joined in November 2024 from Harlequins Rugby and the Ireland men’s team. Has also worked for Manchester City’s EDS Squad, Wasps Rugby and Munster Rugby. A former professional hurler for Limerick who won an All-Ireland title.

Joined from NHS Aintree Hospital in April 2019. Initially worked as Medical Administrator at the Academy, later combining that with being part of the club’s testing programme during the COVID-19 pandemic. Remained part of the men’s first team set-up and responsibilities include the co-ordination of cardiac screening, blood sampling, enhanced infection control and illness prevention.

Previously spent three years with the Gibraltar Football Association as Head of Elite Youth Development. Was born and raised in the territory before attending Liverpool John Moores University from 2008. Went on to become Head of Performance Analysis at Huddersfield Town, as well as working as an analyst at Norwich City and Brighton.

The Harvard University graduate joined Liverpool in March 2018. Previously senior data scientist with US firm Hudl. Expert in using data to understand passing, space and scoring opportunities, which he gave an insight into HERE. Replaced Ian Graham as Director of Research in February 2023.

Major coup for Liverpool when they signed Shaw from Manchester City, where he was Director of Football Data, in April 2025. Has a PhD in computational astrophysics, has developed trading systems for a £30bn hedge fund and was once a policy advisor for the British government.
