FOOTBALL EXECUTIVES
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Tim Steidten
Nationality: German
Appointed in July 2023 and has overall responsibility for scouting and recruitment. Rose from youth scout to Head of Sport (Sporting Director).at Werder Bremen from 2008 from 2019. Then joined Bayer Leverkusen, initially as Head of Scouting and Recruitment, before becoming Manager Sport in June 2022.
SPORTING DIRECTOR
Mark Noble
Nationality: English
A West Ham legend who made 550 senior appearances across 18 years for the club. Started role in January 2023. Steidten, who has far more experience in football administration, subsequently came in as Technical Director.

HEAD COACH
Julen Lopetegui
Nationality: Spanish
A goalkeeper of some repute, who won one cap for Spain and was selected in their squad for the 1994 World Cup. Also has an impressive CV as a Head Coach, leading Sevilla to the UEFA Europa League in 2019/20 and both Spain’s U21s and U19s to European Championship success. Has managed Spain, Porto, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves.
ASSISTANT
Pablo Sanz
Nationality: Spanish
Was a player alongside Lopetegui at Barcelona and worked with him at Porto, Spain, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves.
HEAD OF PERFORMANCE/ ASSISTANT
Oscar Caro
Nationality: Spanish
Has served under Lopetegui since 2016, with Spain, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves.
HEAD OF ANALYSIS/ ASSISTANT
Juan Peinado
Nationality: Spanish
Worked at Real Madrid & Villarreal’s Academies before joining Lopetegui at Sevilla in July 2019. Also joined him at Wolves and now West Ham.
FITNESS COACH
Borja De Alba
Nationality: Spanish
Worked for Sevilla for five years, three of them under Lopetegui, and moved to Wolves with him in November 2022.
TECHNICAL COACH
Edu Rubio
Nationality: Spanish
Has coached in England for many years. Was assistant at Crawley Town and Senior PDP coach at MK Dons. Taught on coaching courses for the Spanish FA, which is where he met Lopetegui. Move marks a return to West Ham, because he was their Women’s assistant for four months in 2022, before joining Lopetegui at Wolves.
GOALKEEPER COACH
Xavi Valero
Nationality: Spanish
Worked with Rafa Benitez at Liverpool, Inter, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Napoli before joining up with Manuel Pellegrini at Hebei China Fortune in 2016 and then West Ham in 2018. Remained under David Moyes and Lopetegui.

Richard Collinge
Nationality: English
Took over from Gary Lewin in June 2018. Highly experienced practitioner, with almost 20 years experience. Left Watford in September 2016.
HEAD PHYSIO
Adam Paxton
Nationality: English
Was Head Physio with English National Ballet for two-and-a-half years before joining West Ham as Assistant First-Team Physio in September 2021. Promoted to Head Physio in June 2022.
PERFORMANCE PHYSIO
Nick Court
Nationality: English
Joined in July 2023 from Bournemouth, where he had been a first-team physio for two years.
SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST
Craig Mazur
Nationality: English
Joined West Ham from Everton - where he had been for five years - in July 2015.
REHAB THERAPIST
Mike Spanou
Nationality: English
Joined in October 2018 from Crystal Palace. Had previously been with Watford since September 2012.

Nationality: English
With the Hammers since 2012. Also assistant manager of West Ham Ladies.
SPORT SCIENTIST
Adam Crossley
Nationality: English
Moved to West Ham in June 2012 as an intern, having previously had spells with Wigan Warriors and Preston North End.

Charlie Radmore
Nationality: English
Joined from Crystal Palace in May 2019. Previously with the Hammers from 2011 to 2016 and has also worked for Orlando City and Norwich.
HEAD OF TECHNICAL RECRUITMENT AND ANALYSIS
Max Hahn
Nationality: German
Joined in February 2024 after 20 months at Werder Bremen, where he was Scouting and Analysis Co-ordinator. Although he didn't work alongside Steidten during his time there (the latter had already left) the duo knew each other well.
SUPPORT ANALYST
Dylan Jones
Nationality: English
Worked for Manchester City in the same role for two years before joining the Hammers in July 2021.
RECRUITMENT ANALYST
Dylan Curnell
Nationality:
Joined in June 2018 from Cardiff City, where he was an Academy analyst. Worked in West Ham's Academy until December 2023, when he was promoted to first-team duties.
