Adam Burrows has been promoted to Performance Services Lead at Nottingham Forest following the departure of Alek Gross to Brighton Women in the summer.
Head of Performance Gross left the City Ground in July after a year to become Head of Performance and Medicine for Brighton Women and Girls. Burrows’ title is slightly different, but he too is in charge of a department that includes Strength and Conditioning Coach Josh Bridge and Performance Coaches Lauren Horner and Tom Evans.
Burrows spent eight years as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Derby County before moving with Manager Frank Lampard to Chelsea in 2019. He joined Forest as Head of S&C in July 2023 following a short spell working for Nottingham Trent University.
Gross had joined Forest in July 2023, having spent the previous decade with Southampton, as their Head of Sports Science and First Team Fitness.
