Tottenham are advertising for a Head of Men’s Medical as they beef up their medical department with a number of new roles.

The position is being advertised on TGG Jobs and specifies that the successful candidate will “provide clinical oversight, leadership, development and management of a best-in-class medical department to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care, in line with the Director of Performance’s departmental strategic plan.”

Tottenham’s Director of Performance Services is Adam Brett, who joined from Brighton in September and oversees their sports science, medical, nutrition and psychology provision across men’s, women’s and Academy.

Last August, Head of Medicine and Sports Science Geoff Scott left Tottenham after 20 years’ service and they have not had a Head of Medical since then.

The club are also advertising for a Rehab Physio, Performance Rehab Coach and Loans and Emerging Talent Development Physio.  As TGG has previously reported, Spurs split their physios into performance – who focus on the matchday squad, often working pitchside, as well as on prehab (injury prevention) – and rehab – working with injured players and helping them towards full fitness.

Tottenham’s Head Physio is Stuart Campbell, their Head Rehab Physio is Richard Clark and their Lead Performance Physio is Matt Davies.
