Tate and Rands leave Leicester City with Cooper

Assistant Manager Alan Tate and First Team Coach and Analyst Steve Rands have been sacked by Leicester City along with Manager Steve Cooper.

Tate and Rands (pictured) arrived at the King Power with the Welshman in July, having also worked with him at Swansea City and Nottingham Forest. 

Cooper today became the second Premier League manager to be sacked this season, following Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. The newly-promoted team are 16th place in the table with 10 points from 12 games.

Cooper took over the Foxes on a three-year deal five months ago. First-Team training will n0w be overseen by First Team Coach Ben Dawson, supported by Goalkeeper Coach Danny Alcock and Set Piece Coach Andy Hughes.

The trio arrived at the club with Cooper in the summer, along with Tate and Rands. Leicester said they would, “begin the process of appointing a new Manager, which we hope to conclude as soon as possible.”
