Thelwell appointed Elite Coach Developer by FA

Former Rangers and Everton Sporting Director Kevin Thelwell has been appointed Elite Coach Developer by the Football Association, tasked with supporting the progression of elite homegrown coaches.

Thelwell’s strategic role at St George’s Park will span both women’s and men’s football and he will report into Chief Football Officer Dan Ashworth. The UEFA Pro Licence coach will oversee the provision of support “tailored to coaches’ needs” on behalf of the FA.
