Wycombe Chairman and Chief Football Officer Dan Rice has become a part owner of the club after buying a 10% shareholding from owners Feliciana EFL Limited.

Roberts became Chairman a month after joining the League One club in May 2024, having previously worked in recruitment roles for Fulham, Arsenal, Southampton and Everton.

Club Owner Mikheil Lomtadze said: “Dan has been my trusted partner in the journey of Wycombe Wanderers and I am delighted that he has become a shareholder in the club, demonstrating his belief in what we are building and his commitment to our long-term future.

“Our ambition remains unchanged: to build a successful, sustainable football club that makes our supporters proud. We remain focused on making decisions that strengthen the club and our direction for the long term.

“I look forward to continuing this journey together with Dan, the Supporters’ Trust and everyone connected with Wycombe Wanderers.”

Wycombe Wanderers Supporters’ Trust also have a 10% shareholding in the club, with Feliciana EFL Limited holding the remaining 80%.

When appointed as Chief Football Officer, the club said Rice would be in charge of the club’s “football functions” including recruitment, first team. Academy, coaching and sports science and analysis in a role equivalent to that of a Sporting Director.

The first club he worked for was Fulham, where he spent more than eight-and-a-half years in the Academy in Player Care and Talent Idenfication roles before becoming its Player Recruitment Manager for Under-9s to Under-23s for almost four years.

He then spent two years at Arsenal in the same role in their Academy, covering U9s to U18s, before working for the Football Association for six-and-a-half years in Talent Identification.

Rice had two years at Southampton, most of which was as Head of Youth Recruitment, and then just under a year at Everton as Head of Emerging Talent where he led recruitment in the 17 to 23 age range, before joining Wycombe.

In his first season at the club, the Chairboys finished fifth in League One but lost 1-0 on aggregate to Charlton Athletic in the play-off semi-finals.

Last season they came 11th – 12 points adrift of the play-off places.
