Kapuscinski promoted as Spurs continue Insights department revamp

Pawel Kapuscinski has become Football Systems Lead at Tottenham as the club continues to revamp their Insights department.

Kapuscinski joined the club as a Data Engineer in December 2024 after previous experience as Scouting Data Analyst with Burnley and as Head of Football Data at Polish clubs Warta Poznan and Rakow Czestochowa.

It is the latest change in Spurs’ Insights team.

Joe Ferrelly has been appointed Head of Football Insights and will report into Frederik Leth, who has now become Director of Technical Performance.

The club also advertised on TGG for two positions – a Lead Data Scientist to replace Sasha Satikova, who left in the close season, and a Full Stack Engineer to join a “newly formed Football Systems team” embedded within the same department.

Tottenham’s data operation sits within the Football Insights and Strategy department and provides data-derived insights across the club, from the first team to the Academy and including both the men’s and women’s sides.
