SHEFFIELD UNITED have hired Pablo Pérez from Valencia to become their new Head of Analysis.

The Spaniard replaces Josh Kirk, who, as TGG reported last week, has left the club to become Head of Analysis at Brentford.

Pérez has been Head of Analysis at Spanish side Valencia for the last six years and during his time with the club he worked under Chema Sanz, Sheffield United’s current first-team coach, who was previously B team boss and then Technical Director at the Mestalla.

Pérez has experience in England, having studied for a Masters in Performance Analysis at the University of Chester.

Sheffield United have endured an extremely difficult start to life back in the Championship under new manager Slavisa Jokanovic. They have lost three and drawn two of their first five games and are second bottom of the table.
