Promoted from the U23s in November 2021. Was caretaker manager of the side from March 2021 to the end of the season following the sacking of Chris Wilder. A former manager of Barnsley, Leeds United and Hibernian.
Arrived from Blackpool, where he was also assistant, in November 2021. Had actually managed Heckingbottom for a short period when he was a player at Bradford City. A former Blades midfielder and Scotland international.
Former Blades striker who had been Academy Manager since the summer of 2019. Stepped up to this new role when Heckingbottom was made manager.
Was elevated from the U21s in March 2021 to replace the outgoing Darren Ward and has continued with the first team under Jokanovic.
PERFORMANCE & MEDICAL
HEAD OF PERFORMANCE
Joined in May 2022 from Preston, where he had been Head of Performance for nine years. Massively experienced, having also worked for Birmingham, Huddersfield, Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Manchester City.
A former professional player who was a physio at Brighton for 12 years before joining United in June 2017.
Worked at Barnsley for almost nine years before moving to Leeds United with manager Paul Heckingbottom in February 2018. His time at Elland Road and, subsequently, Ipswich Town was short-lived. Appointed by the Blades in June 2019.
SPORTS SCIENTIST/ S&C
Was an intern at the club before getting a permanent role win July 2010. Started off with the Academy before being promoted to first team duties in 2013.
Like several other staff at United, he was a student at Sheffield Hallam University. Joined the club as an S&C coach and nutritionist in 2013.
ASSISTANT PERFORMANCE ANALYST
Joined in July 2020, having previously been an intern at nearby Sheffield Wednesday.
