Liverpool’s Assistant Goalkeeper Coach Jack Robinson has left the club after six years, along with six other of Jurgen Klopp’s assistants.

Robinson joined the Reds in September 2018 from the Football Association, where he was national goalkeeper coach for the Under-15 to U17 age group, and assisted Goalkeeper Coach John Achterberg.

Announcing his exit on LinkedIn, Robinson said: “After six years, 330 games, 8 trophies and many more memories I am announcing I will be leaving Liverpool FC. Thank you to everyone at the club and all the best for the future.

“I am now looking forward to my next adventure for me and my family, either here or abroad, and hope to use the experience I have gained at this huge club to bring success and development to wherever I go.”

Six other of Klopp’s assistants are leaving along with the legendary German manager:

  • Peter Krawietz (Assistant)
  • Pep Lijnders (Assistant)
  • John Achterberg (Goalkeeper Coach)
  • Vitor Matos (Development Coach)
  • Andreas Kornmayer (Head of Fitness and Conditioning)
  • Andreas Schlumberger (Head of Recovery and Performance)

However, Goalkeeping Coach Claudio Taffarel, who arrived at the club in 2021 to work with first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker, is set to stay on under new boss Arne Slot.
