Paul Bower: Joined Huddersfield as Lead Academy Performance Coach in June 2017

Head of Performance Paul Bower has left Huddersfield after seven years following the arrival of Andre Breitenreiter as Head Coach in February.

Bower joined the Terriers in June 2017 as Lead Academy Performance Coach, having previously worked for the Football Association with England’s age group teams and at Barnsley.

At the end of 2020/21 he replaced Callum Walsh, who had left to join Newcastle United, as Head of Performance. Writing on LinkedIn, Bower said: “My time at Huddersfield Town has come to an end after seven great seasons. I am now seeking new employment and development opportunities to enhance my professional skills.”

Bower presented alongside other Huddersfield Town heads of department at TGG’s Individual Development Webinar in 2021.
