Celtic's Morgan appointed Head of Academy Performance at Leicester
Morgan joins in the new role of Head of Academy Performance Support

CELTIC’S Oliver Morgan has been appointed to the new role of Head of Academy Performance Support by Leicester City.
Morgan, who starts work with the Foxes on Monday, has been Celtic’s Head of Academy Sport Science since June 2019 and previously worked at Liverpool’s Academy for almost eight years.
Leicester describe his new role as being "pivotal and influential" and he will be responsible for ensuring that players “have the required physical attributes to support their football development and make the next step in their pathway and ultimately into the first team.”
Morgan effectively replaces Kevin Paxton, who was the Head of Academy Sport Science at the club for more than nine years, who is now working for the first team in an Athletic Development Officer role.
Leicester Academy Manager Ian Cawley is putting together a formidable staff at the Category One club (which you can view below). On Monday, TGG reported that former Manchester United Under-18s coach Paul McGuinness had joined the Foxes Academy as Head of Player Development.
