Strength and Power Coach leaves Leicester after 13 years

Mitch Willis, one of the staff who helped Leicester City achieve the 'impossible dream' of winning the Premier League in 2015/16, has left the club after 13 years.

The Strength and Power Coach, who joined the Foxes in July 2012, has left to become Head of Performance Services for British Weight Lifting.

Writing on LinkedIn, Willis said: “After 13 incredible seasons, my time at Leicester City is coming to an end as I prepare to take on a new challenge.”

Leicester City have advertised for a replacement on TGG Jobs, stating that the successful applicant will “play a key role in developing and delivering evidence-based strength and power programmes for first-team players.”
