MANAGER/ FOOTBALL DIRECTORS
A legendary player who won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with Manchester United, as well as 72 caps for Wales. Handed the Southampton job in March 2018 after being sacked by Stoke in January. Kept the Saints up and subsequently signed a three-year contract at St Mary's.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL
A key figure at the club since being appointed as Head of Football Development in 2010. Now Executive Director of Football and has a seat on the board. Ultimately responsible for recruitment, the Academy, coaching and sports science and medicine.
DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL OPERATIONS
Despite still being in his 30s, Wilson has already been Business Director at Watford and Head of Football Operations at Huddersfield. Moved to the south coast in March 2015 and is responsible for scouting and recruitment, performance analysis and contract negotiation.
Promoted from U21 coach to Technical Director in 2014 and responsible for ensuring all teams play "the Southampton way". When appointed, Reed said Hunter would "play a big part in how coaching is delivered right from the first team down through the Academy." Spent 13 years with the Football Association, coaching the U15s, U16s and then U19s.
Played alongside Hughes for Wales U15s in the 1970s and then with the senior national side. Has been at his friend's side in each of his seven managerial jobs.
FIRST TEAM COACH
The former keeper was also a team-mate of Hughes' for the Wales national side and has worked with both him and Bowen throughout his managerial career.
Former keeper made 271 appearances for the Saints. Appointed senior first team coach in December 2017 and stayed on under Hughes.
Joined Southampton from Norwich in 2014 and promoted to Head of Goalkeeping in 2016. Worked with Roy Hodgson's England at the 2014 World Cup. Spent a decade as keeper for hometown club Barnsley and won five caps for England Under-21s.
MEDICAL AND PERFORMANCE
DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE SCIENCE
Club veteran who is celebrating 20 years with Southampton. Started as an Academy physio, working his way up to the first team, the head of sports medicine and science. Current role encompasses all facets of performance - nutrition, psychology, medicine and science.
HEAD OF SPORTS SCIENCE
Works as first-team head of sport science and S&C coach. First joined in June 2013 as lead Academy S&C coach.
DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL SERVICES
Responsible for medical services from Academy to first team. Is on the bench at home and away games. Formerly team doctor for Team Sky and joined Southampton in 2013, ending his role as a GP to do so.
HEAD OF PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES
Moved to St Mary's in 2014 from West Brom. Also head of medical services for the foundation phase.
Lead rehab and movement specialist. Promoted to first team in August 2018, having first joined the Academy in 2010.
Experienced practitioner. Assistant to Kenny McMillan at Celtic before moving to Southampton.
ASSISTANT FIRST TEAM PHYSIO
Joined Southampton from Sheffield Wednesday in June 2016. Also head physio for Ireland U21s.
SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST
Joined from Huddersfield in 2016. Has extensive experience in rugby league, having worked for Bradford Bull and Leeds Rhinos.
Long-standing member of staff. Explains in this video how the department has changed during his time at the club.
Joined club in 2017 after five years with Reading.
HEAD OF PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
Joined the club in August 2011 and promoted to Head of Performance Analysis in 2016. Formerly worked as a netball analyst for Team Bath.
HEAD OF FIRST TEAM ANALYSIS
Joined in August 2011. Responsible for all pre, live and post-match analysis for the first team.
Worked as an Academy GPS analyst at Aston Villa for 15 months before joining Southampton in September 2014. Promoted to first-team data scientist in July 2016. Studying for a PhD at Birmingham University and says "overarching goal is to optimise movement and reduce injury occurrence by identifying the patterns of key factors prior an injury".
Joined at the start of the 2018/19 season. Had been with Bristol City since July 2014.
