SPORTING DIRECTOR

Ben Knapper

Nationality: English

Arrived at Norwich City in November 2023 after 13 years at Arsenal, where he was an Analyst and then Loans Manager. Replaced the hugely influential Stuart Webber, who had been with the Canaries for seven years. Knapper spoke at TGG's 2022 Scouting and Recruitment Webinar.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Neil Adams

Nationality: English

Association with the club goes back more than two decades, as player, youth coach, manager and loans manager. Was promoted to Assistant Sporting Director at the end of September 2021. Title changed to Technical Director when Knapper was appointed.

HEAD COACH

Johannes Hoff Thorup

Nationality: Danish

Made his name with FC Nordsjælland in the Danish Superliga. Joined the club in 2015 as U17 Head Coach and went on to become Head Coach in January 2023. Led them to a second-place finish and then the UEFA Conference League.

ASSISTANT

Glen Riddersholm

Nationality: Danish

Hugely experienced. Has been Head Coach of four clubs - FC Midtjylland, AGF, SønderjyskE and IFK Norrköping - and was also in charge of Denmark's U17s. Has helped to develop more than 40 international players, including Simon Kjaer, Christian Eriksen, Martin Braithwaite and Joachim Andersen. Arrived with Thorup in summer of 2024, but the duo had never worked together before.

FIRST-TEAM COACH

Narcís Pèlach

Nationality: Spanish

Joined in May 2023 from Huddersfield Town. Played in the Spanish fourth tier before turning to coaching at the age of 25. Was Head Coach of UE Figueres and Peralada and assistant at Girona. Moved to Huddersfield in August 2020 under Carlos Corberán and remained under Danny Schofield, Mark Fotheringham and Neil Warnock.

SET PIECE AND FIRST TEAM COACH

Nick Stanley

Nationality: English

Started as an intern with Brighton in July 2012 and rose up the ranks to become their Lead Performance Analyst and then Set Pieces Coach - the club's first - in July 2019. Joined Norwich in July 2024.

GOALKEEPER COACH

Paul Clements

Nationality: English

Joined Huddersfield as Head of Academy Goalkeeping in July 2015, which is where he worked with Webber and Wagner. Was named Huddersfield's Head of Goalkeeping at the start of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign. Regarded as one of the best GK coach developers in the country. Joined Norwich in July 2024.

HEAD OF PERFORMANCE

Glyn Lewis

Nationality: Welsh

Arrived from Birmingham in 2013 as a sport scientist and was promoted to Head of Performance in November 2021 following the exit of Chris Domogalla with former manager Daniel Farke.

SENIOR PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE COACH

Jay Eastoe-Smith

Nationality: English

Joined Norwich as an intern in June 2012 and has been with them ever since. Promoted from Head of Academy Performance to the first team in December 2021.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH

Louis Cunningham

Nationality: English

Joined from Middlesbrough, where he'd worked since January 2020, in June 2021. The former England amateur boxer also worked for Sunderland's Category One Academy for five years.

GOALKEEPER PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE COACH

Josh Booth

Nationality: English

Took up this new role in February 2024, joining from Blackburn Rovers, where he was Academy Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach.

HEAD OF MEDICAL

Chris Burton

Nationality: English

Joined from League One Scunthorpe in November 2017. Previously worked at Nottingham Forest, Barnsley, Hull City, Queens Park Rangers and Peterborough.

SENIOR PHYSIO

Mikey Burroughs

Nationality: English

Arrived in September 2022 from Cambridge United, where he had been Head of Medical for five years. Has also worked in rugby union, with London Scottish and Cornish Pirates.

Damien Bowyer

Nationality: English

Joined in 2005, initially with the Academy, and moved up to first team in 2017.

Chris Budd

Nationality: English

With the club since February 2015.

SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST

Shaun Spurdens

Nationality: English

Provides soft tissue treatments for prevention of injuries. Joined 2012.

CLUB DOCTOR

Nick Wilford

Nationality: English

Has worked with the Canaries since October 2009. Provides primary care and sports medicine services, as well as emergency medical care on match day.

HEAD OF DATA, STRATEGY & INNOVATION

John Iga

Nationality: English

Appointed to this new role in June 2021. Describes his remit as “trying to out-smart and out-think" rivals in the Premier League. Highly experienced, having been Head of Performance Services at Huddersfield Town, Head of Sport Science and the FA and Head of Academy Sport Science and Medicine at Wolves.

Nationality: English

Started as an intern with the club before being promoted to first-team staff in 2021.

Nationality: English

Worked for Southampton's Academy for four years before joining Norwich in June 2023.

SET PLAY & TRAINING ANALYST

Nationality: English

Was a Set Piece Analyst at Watford before joining Norwich in this new role in June 2023.
