HEADS OF DEPARTMENT
Unconventional background, having never played professional and originally being a banker. Became a full-time coach in 1999, at the age of 40, and gradually made his way up the leagues. Became a big name at Napoli, securing two second-placed finishes in three years. Named the 2017 Serie A coach of the year.
Deals with player signings and sales. Combined, she and Emanalo fulfil the role of a Sporting Director. The Russian has worked for Abramovich since 1997, first with his former oil company Sibneft, then with Chelsea after he took over in 2003. Has been on the club's board since June 2013.
HEAD OF SPORTS SCIENCE & PSYCHOLOGY
Nationality: South African
Has held this position since July 2009. Previously worked in private practice in his native South Africa.
Joined Chelsea in July 2011 from Shakhtar Donetsk. Prior to this the Catalan worked as a specialist doctor in orthopaedic surgery at Arnau Vilanova Hospital in Lleida, Spain.
Former Italy's Under-17 coach. Assistant to Roberto Donadoni at Parma, Cagliari and Bologna. Joined shortly after Sarri was appointed.
Chelsea legend who scored 80 goals in 312 appearances for the Blues. Has had less success as a manager, during spells with West Ham, Watford, Cagliari, Al-Arabi and Birmingham City. Named assistant shortly after Sarri's arrival.
Joined Sarri's staff at Napoli in 2016. Described as a tactical/ technical expert. Played in Serie C and D before becoming a coach five years ago, at the age of 31.
Chelsea' first-choice keeper until arrival of Petr Cech in 2004/5. Appointed assistant when Conte arrived last July. His first-hand knowledge of the club helped the Italian to integrate.
Sarri brought him from Serie D side Sangiovannese to Napoli in September 2015. Has now taken Nenci with him to Stamford Bridge.

Another who worked with Conte for Juve and the Italian national team. At the heart of a tunnel row between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in April.

Joined Sarri at Napoli in July 2016 and came with him to Chelsea. Previously at Città di Campobasso.

Sarri took Ranzato from Vicenza to Napoli and now to Chelsea.
Arrived at Chelsea from Fulham. Previously worked with Australia men's football side and Olympic team at Sydney 2000.
With Chelsea since 2004. Worked with England at 2010 World Cup.
Hit the headlines when he and club doctor Eva Carneiro were branded 'naive' by Jose Mourinho for running on to treat Eden Hazard in August 2015. With Chelsea since 2010.
Has been in post since August 2016, having join Chelsea as an intern in 2011.
