Selini joins Middlesbrough coaching staff
David Selini has continued his working partnership with Kim Hellberg by following him to Middlesbrough to become Assistant Head Coach.
Hellberg has been appointed Head Coach of the Championship club in place of Rob Edwards, who moved to Wolves.
Selini first linked up with Hellberg in 2021 at Swedish club Sylvia, before they spent two seasons at IFL Varnamo. In 2023, the pair moved on to Hammarby – leading them to consecutive second-place finishes in the Allsvenskan.
Before moving to Sylvia, he coached part-time while also working as an Interrogator at the Swedish Police Department.
He also founded and ran a football blog called Running The Show.
Adi Viveash, who stepped in as Interim Head Coach after Edwards left, will remain on the club’s coaching staff.
