We are delighted to be able to reveal the full two-day agenda for TGG Live 2025 at Old Trafford on October 7th and 8th, featuring leading figures from clubs and federations around the world.
TGG Live, in partnership with Teamworks, is the annual conference for insights, ideas and networking – and this year’s event promises be our biggest and best to date.
The focus on DAY ONE (October 7th) will be Leadership, Analytics and Recruitment.
Kicking things off will be an Opening Keynote from Ged Roddy MBE, who will share the perspective he’s gained from heading up FIFA’s Global Player Development Programme.
Ged, who was the architect of the modern Academy system as Director of Elite Development for the Premier League, will also outline the challenges and opportunities that exist for the English game in the coming years.
This year we’ve introduced a Chief Executives Panel, which features Christian Nourry of QPR, Simon Wilson of Stockport County and Polly Bancroft of Grimsby Town. The trio will be giving insights into how they lead operations at their respective organisations.
Francisco Belo, Head of Football Data Insights at Nottingham Forest, will be explaining how the club Link Data and Playing Philosophy in his session.
After lunch, delegates will have the opportunity to attend one of three break-outs. We’ve added these sessions this year following feedback from previous conferences and they will offer the chance to do a deep dive into a specialist area, with the chance for added audience participation.
The three break-outs are: Recruiting for Success on the Transition with SkillCorner, Monitoring of Recovery Biomarkers with Orecco, and Scouting Africa, with Afriskaut and African Football Consultant Joe Mulberry.

Mariela Nisotaki, the Head of Group Talent Acquisition at Sport Republic, owners of Southampton, will then be taking part in a Recruitment Q&A, followed by a Closing Keynote from England blind footballer Azeem Amir on Challenging Perceptions and Breaking Down Barriers.
Man Utd and England Goalkeeper Tom Heaton is one of the speakers on Day Two of TGG Live
The focus of DAY TWO will be Performance, Development and Integration. The Opening Keynote will be delivered by Sarah Batters, the Managing Director of London City Lionesses, on how they are doing things differently.
Next up we have our Sporting Director Panel, which is always one of the most popular sessions of TGG Live. This year’s panelists are Adam Underwood from Leeds United and Lee Dykes from Brentford.
Later in the morning we have a Cohesive Coaching Panel with Lee Johnson (Lommel SK) and Emiliano Marcondes (Norwich City) exploring how a Head Coach, player and data scientist can work together effectively.
After that, Academy Manager Louisa Collis will be giving insights into the rise of Birmingham City’s Academy, which was recently promoted to Category One status and is regarded as already being one of the best in the country.

After lunch we will have two break-outs, which both promise to be fascinating: Reframing Performance in Women’s Football, with Stacey Emmonds and Paul Balsom from UEFA’s Football for Fitness Advisory Group, and Developing People, Teams and Performance with Simone Lewis, the Founder of Performance Focus Ltd and former Head of Learning at the Premier League.
The afternoon agenda continues with a Q&A on Developing the Person and Player with Manchester United and England Goalkeeper Tom Heaton and West Brom Head of Performance Tony Strudwick.
The duo worked together when Tom was an emerging player at Manchester United and Tony was the club’s Head of Performance.
For our Closing Keynote of TGG Live, we couldn’t ask for a more fitting topic, or speaker: Human Connection and Joy, with Michael Caulfield, a Consultant Psychologist who works for teams including Brentford.
