Danny Fishwick has been reunited with Rob Edwards, after rejoining Wolves as their First Team Sport Rehabilitator.

It will be Fishwick’s second spell at Molineux, as he was First Team Sport Rehabilitation Therapist for six-and-a-half years from March 2017. Current Head Coach Edwards spent 15 months during that time as Head Coach of Wolves’ Under-23 side.

Fishwick will also be working again with new Assistant Head Coach Rui Pedro Silva, who returned to the club last week and who was Nuno Espirito Santo’s Assistant from 2017 to 2021.

He returns after just over two years as First Team Rehabilitation Therapist at Stoke City, while he has also worked for Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club, Huddersfield Town, Altrincham, Australian sides Armadale and Perth Glory, Chorley and Fleetwood Town.

Fishwick announced his return on both LinkedIn and also on X, where he posted a nighttime photo of the training ground with the word “Back”.

Steve Davis, Wolves’ Player Pathways Manager, who had a brief spell as the club’s Interim Manager during Fishwick’s first spell, was among many people to congratulate him on LinkedIn, saying: “Welcome home Danny.”

Edwards’ staff also includes Assistants Harry Watling and Paul Trollope, while Matt Jackson was promoted to Technical Director from his role of Director of Player Recruitment after Edwards’ appointment.
