Theodoros Antonopoulos

Biography

I am a UEFA A Licensed football coach with more than 20 years of experience in professional and elite development environments across Europe and the United States.My career includes ten seasons as an assistant coach at the professional level, participating in more than 300 matches in top competitive environments such as the Greek Super League, the Cyprus National Team, Major League Soccer, and MLS NEXT Pro. I have worked alongside respected head coaches and international players, contributing to match preparation, tactical analysis, training, player development, and high-performance team environments.

During my decade working in academy football, I was involved in the development of several players who later progressed to top European leagues and national teams. I also served as Head Analyst for the Cyprus National Team, where I was responsible for opponent analysis, tactical reports, and performance evaluation at the international level.

My coaching philosophy is built around passion, intensity, and discipline. I believe successful teams are created through strong standards, clear tactical identity, and an environment that encourages players to grow both on and off the field.

I have also had the opportunity to coach top-level players and strong personalities in international football environments, experiences that have strengthened my leadership and communication approach as a coach.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science from the University of Athens with Specialization in Soccer.
