Biography
Data Scientist with a PhD in Data Science, specialising in applied machine learning for athlete monitoring and performance analytics in elite sport. Experienced in building end-to-end data pipelines — from raw sensor and tracking data through feature engineering, modelling, and deployment — into tools used daily by coaches and performance staff, including a postdoctoral role leading a national athlete-monitoring analytics platform and applied ML work at STATSports on wearable sensor data. Currently running an independent practice, LúthTech Performance, supporting sporting organisations with performance analytics and data systems. Looking to bring this technical foundation into football-specific tracking and event data, translating match data into insights clubs can act on
