Biography

John is Founder of Sport Science Agency (SSA) and one of the leading marketing specialists working in the performance sector. With a background that includes British Cycling and more than 20 years in sports marketing, sponsorship and commercial strategy, he has worked with clubs, competitions, major sponsors and performance brands across elite sport.

John pioneered the concept of Performance Rights, helping clubs generate new revenue, attract partner-funded performance projects and unlock greater support for performance teams. His work focuses on turning existing performance activities into credible commercial opportunities, creating value for clubs, brands and performance departments while minimising disruption to players and staff.
