Biography
As Professor of Neuroscience my main role is research with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) into rehabilitation programmes for people who have suffered a stroke affecting their visual system. We additionally investigate training for people who have a lazy eye to try to improve their depth perception.
I teach Neuroscience to Psychology, Biomedical Science and Medical students at New College, Oxford in addition to lecturing about visual perception.
Our ‘Football on the Brain’ project is designed to educate young people and coaches about the role of the brain in football, in addition to providing interactive activities to highlight how the brain allows us to learn.
