Nick Montgomery

Nick Montgomery was the Assistant to Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur last season, helping the club win the Europa League – their first piece of silverware in 17 years.

Now he’s joined the Australian at Nottingham Forest as the team compete on two fronts, domestically and in Europe, just like Spurs did last season. This Episode was recorded a day before Montgomery was appointed at Forest, but he gave us the lowdown on a tumultuous season at Spurs, explained what makes Postecoglou special and also challenged some of the negative narratives about the Australian.
