Newcastle Goalkeeper Coach/Analyst Garcia joins Villa

Newcastle United Goalkeeper Coach/Analyst Daniel Garcia has joined Aston Villa.

Garcia had worked with the Magpies’ first team for four years after being promoted from his role as Under-18 Goalkeeping Coach at the club. He had been in that position for three years after joining the Magpies in August 2018 as Academy Under 12-16s Goalkeeping Coach.

Before moving to Tyneside, Garcia had coached goalkeepers in Rayo Vallecano’s Academy.

He has been appointed as Assistant to Goalkeeper Coach Javi Garcia at Villa and his departure follows that of Newcastle’s Head of Goalkeeping Adam Bartlett.
