Former Doncaster Rovers Manager Gary McSheffrey has been promoted to Chris Wilder’s First Team staff at Sheffield United.
McSheffrey has Under-21s Lead for the Blades for the last 16 months, having previously been Individual Development Coach for 10 months.
Now he has been promoted as Wilder completes his staff following his return to the club in September. As TGG previously reported on the Bulletin Board, Joe Stephenson has been appointed Head of Analysis, having worked for Plymouth Argyle on a consultancy basis for the last four months.
Perry Nosek has come in as First Team Performance Coach after 17 months at Coventry City. In the medical department, Lizzie Prew has joined as a Soft Tissue Therapist.
Following McSheffrey’s promotion to the first team, George Willis has become U21s Lead after 17 months as Assistant, while Tom Clarke has been promoted from Position Specific Defender Coach to Lead Individual Development Coach.
