Lorenzo leaves Bournemouth after three years

South America Scout Fran Lorenzo has left Bournemouth after three years.

The Uruguayan joined the Cherries in March 2023 from Peñarol and played a role in the signing of forward Rayan, who arrived from Vasco da Gama in January 2026 and went on to become a starter for the Brazil national team.

Writing on LinkedIn, Lorenzo said: “Grateful for an incredible three years at AFC Bournemouth. Thankful for the experience, the people I met, and everything I learned while contributing to the club’s recruitment process across South America.

“Looking forward to the next chapter.”
