Kennedy leaves U21s role at Birmingham

Birmingham City Under-21s Head Coach Mark Kennedy has left the club for personal reasons.

The former Republic of Ireland international joined Birmingham’s coaching staff in June 2025 and led the U21s in their first campaign as a Premier League 2 side.

Kennedy had previously been Head Coach of Swindon Town and Lincoln City, as well as Assistant at Birmingham 2021/22. The club said the process of identifying a successor was now underway.
