About the opportunity
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Men’s First Team Football Operations department as Senior Kit & Equipment Manager.
The Senior Kit & Equipment Manager will be reporting into the Head of Football Operations, with responsibility to coordinate the delivery of kit and equipment across all footballing departments; Men’s 1st Team, Academy, and Women’s. Ensuring a timely and efficient provisions of kit and equipment to players and colleagues is achieved within all teams; with a key focus being matchday provisions.
In addition to this, the successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with a wide selection of stakeholders, partners, and departments. This will include a very strong working arrangement with the partnerships and commercial teams; ensuring an awareness of upcoming agreements, adjustments, key dates, and demands, which will impact the department with necessary planning and actions being carried out on the back of this. The postholder will be expected to be a crucial point of contact for not only internal stakeholders but also external partners.
Other key responsibilities will include
- Leading the Clubs Kit & Equipment department to ensure effective processes and practices that can service all teams to the highest standards
- Ensuring comprehensive kit & equipment kit provisions are achieved and available within different programmes, including all home and away games, tours, tournaments, and other activities
- Forecasting, planning, and accommodating changes to weekly and monthly planners
You will assume ultimate responsibility for the operational delivery of all aspects of kit & equipment across the Club, ensuring a best-in-class service.
Who we are looking for
Essentially, someone who has proven experience of kit management and event provision within an elite performance environment, previously or currently.
You must have knowledge, experience and practical application of inventory management, stock management and ordering and be comfortable working with a wide variety of demands and be flexible enough to support our elite players across competitive fixtures, both home and away.
We need someone who possess’ the ability to work discreetly under pressure, and is a passionate, energised team player who embraces opportunities to collaborate with a broader diverse team.
