We’re on the lookout for a passionate Performance Data Analyst Intern to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As a Performance Data Analyst Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the academy’s player development programme through the collection, management, analysis and communication of performance data.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the accurate collection and quality control of performance data from training sessions and matches, analysing performance data streams to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and developing clear visual outputs that support understanding and decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in football performance, analytics and player development, with high numerical ability and analytical thinking skills. You’ll need experience of working with data in an academic, applied or personal project context and be well-versed in using spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools. A proactive mindset with willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
