Frank hires sixth Tottenham staff member from Brentford

Ted Munson has been appointed as Tottenham’s new Head of Nutrition, making him the sixth member of staff to join Head Coach Thomas Frank from his former club Brentford.
Munson worked closely with Frank during more than three years as Lead Performance Nutritionist at Brentford, from July 2022.
In an interview with the BBC in March, he explained: “I have a lot of dialogue with Thomas Frank, especially when it comes down to individual player goals.
“For example, if we have a player who we want to make stronger, I will play a key role in that and Thomas has an excellent open-door policy so I will just jump in his office and give him an update.”
Frank has already taken five members of staff with him from Brentford:
- Justin Cochrane (Assistant)
- Chris Haslam (Head of Performance)
- Joe Newton (Coach-Analyst)
- Nick Stubbings (Head of Medical)
- Tom Perryman (Strength & Conditioning Coach)
As well as working for Brentford, Munson was Nutritionist for the Denmark national team in 2024/25. Prior to joining the Bees, he worked for Birmingham City, Luton Town, Harlequins Rugby and Millwall.
Tottenham have not had a Head of Nutrition since Emma Tester departed in October 2024. She is now a Consultant Nutritionist for Chelsea.
