Director of Football Konyar leaves Crawley

Crawley Director of Football Erdem Konyar is leaving the club, along with management team Colin Kazim-Richards and Julian Gray.

Konyar rejoined the League Two club last November, following a previous spell as Technical Director from December 2020 to April 2022.

As Director of Football, he was appointed to work closely with then First Team Manager Scott Lindsey, who left the club in March,, owner Raphael Khalili and the club’s Data Intelligence team to oversee the football department and player recruitment. Khalili at the time said the club was “very pleased” Konyar was returning.

On Konyar’s departure, the club said in a statement: “We would like to thank Erdem for his hard work and commitment since returning to the club last year.”

Crawley are currently bottom of League Two with five points from 10 matches.
