Head Coach
Appointed to succeed Graham Potter in September 2025 having been sacked earlier in the month by Nottingham Forest. In nearly two years at the City Ground, he kept Forest in the Premier League and earned them a place in the Europa League. Spent four years in charge at Wolves, taking them into the Premier League in his first season, and has also been in charge of Rio Ave, Valencia, Porto, Spurs and Al-Ittihad.

Former Hammers winger was appointed in October 2025 after brief spell as Interim First Team Coach. Promoted from role in Academy, where he was U21s Lead. Has also been Head Coach at Barnet and First Team Coach at Gillingham, Peterborough, Norwich, Aston Villa and Charlton, where he was also Assistant Head Coach. Spent more than four years at the FA as National Specialist Coach and also worked with England U20s and U17s.

First Team Coach
Appointed in October 2025 after brief spell as Interim First Team Coach. Made more than 500 appearances for the Hammers in defence and midfield between 1985 and 2002. He rejoined the club on the coaching side in 2011 – initially with the Under-12 to Under-16 age groups. Since 2015, he has held senior positions with the Under-17 to Under-23 age groups and has worked closely with all the players who have moved into the first team in recent years.

Gerard Prenderville
First Team Coach
Appointed in October 2025 after brief spell as Interim First Team Coach. Has worked his way up West Ham’s Academy, starting in the Youth Development Phase with the Under-12 to Under-16 age group. He was then promoted to the Professional Development Phase, where he coached the Under-17s to Under-23s and was part of the Under-18s coaching team in 2022/23 when they won the FA Youth Cup.

Former team-mate of Nuno’s at Deportivo La Coruña who won 21 caps for Spain and made more than 250 appearances in La Liga. Has managed has managed more than 500 matches during a coaching career spanning nearly two decades and led clubs in Spain, Mexico and Iran. Spent five years in charge at Rayo Vallecano, leading them to a record-high eighth-place finish in La Liga in 2012/13.

Appointed in October 2025 after brief spell as Interim Goalkeeping Coach. Born into a West Ham family and joined the club’s Academy as a Goalkeeping Coach. He was appointed Head of Academy Goalkeeping in November 2020.

Was promoted to this newly created role in July 2023. As Head of Performance, he oversees the unified medical and sports science departments. Was previously Head of Medical, a role which he took over from Gary Lewin in June 2018. Highly experienced practitioner, with almost 20 years experience. Left Watford in September 2016.

Joined in February 2024 after 20 months at Werder Bremen, where he was Scouting and Analysis Co-ordinator. Although he didn’t work alongside Steidten during his time there (the latter had already left) the duo knew each other well.
