Appointed on a two-year contract, with a club option of a further year, in the summer of 2025 for his first job in English football. Managed in the Croatian, Slovenian, Bosnian and Turkish leagues before moving to Humberside. Was voted Bosnian Premier League manager of the season in 2021/22 after breaking the league record of 13 consecutive victories to win the title with Zrinjski Mostar. Won five caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina during his playing career.
