Appointment in November 2025 marked a return to the club where he was Head of Performance Analysis from 2009 to 2017. Then Game Insights Lead at the Football Association (2017 to 2021) and Sporting Director at Bolton (2021 to 2025). Was our guest on Episode #52 of the TGG Podcast and presented at the 2025 Scouting and Recruitment Webinar.

Liam Manning
Head Coach
Appointed in January 2026 to replace Lee Grant. He started his coaching career in the Academies at Ipswich Town and West Ham United before joining the City Football Group as Director of Coaching. Staying in the Group, he became Academy Director of New York City and then Head Coach of Lommel SK in Belgium before returning to England to take charge of MK Dons, Oxford United, Bristol City and Norwich City.

Martin Drury
Assistant Coach
Huddersfield-born Drury was appointed in January 2026. He has worked in his native West Yorkshire before – managing Bradford (Park Avenue) before crossing the city to work at Bradford City. He moved on to work in Manchester United’s Academy before joining West Bromwich Albion in August 2024 under Head Coach Carlos Corberan, who he followed to Valencia in January 2025. He returned to England in July to become Assistant First Team Coach at Brentford, but left them two months later.

James Krause
Coach/Analyst
Appointed in January 2026. Worked for eight years at Arsenal, where he led their First Team Football Analysis Department, before linking up with Manning for the first time at Oxford. The pair went on to work together at Bristol City and Norwich.

Jon Stead
First Team Coach
Born and raised in Huddersfield and played for the Terriers in two separate stints after graduating from their Academy, making 100 appearances and scoring 27 goals. Has coached at senior level at Hartford Athletic, Tampa Bay Rowdies, Barnsley and Bristol Rovers and rejoined Huddersfield in January 2026.

Chris Elliott
Head of Goalkeeping
Arrived in June 2025 from Leeds United, where he had been Head of Academy Goalkeeping. He had two spells at Elland Road, working in mentorship positions in-between. Played for Bradford City, Harrogate Town, Alfreton Town, Spennymoor Town and Darlington in England and IFK Holmsund and Bodens BK in Sweden.

Senior Physical Performance Coach
Other than an 11-month spell at Doncaster, has worked for the Terriers for a decade. Started as a performance analyst, before moving into performance coaching with the Academy then first team.

Callum Adams
Head of Strength and IDP
Joined as an intern in June 2014 before being promoted to Physical Performance Coach a year later. Appointed to his current role in July 2022 and is responsible for the strength programme at the club, as well as individual development programme strategy.

Arrived at the club in August 2021 from Barnsley, where he was first-team sport scientist.

Appointed Senior Physio in July 2017, having previously been Academy physio at Liverpool for almost six years. Then promoted to Head Physio and, in March 2025, to Head of Medical and Performance.

Long-serving member of Barnsley’s staff before joining Huddersfield in September 2021.

Lead First-Team Physio at Barnsley before joining the Terriers in February 2024.

New role that was created in summer of 2021. Beck did work experience with the club before joining full-time in July 2017 as Lead Academy Performance Analyst.

Was an intern with the club before joining full-time in July 2020. Promoted from Academy to first team a year later.
