Head Coach
Premier League’s youngest ever full-time manager when he took the job aged 31. Arrived at the Amex after a successful spell in charge of German club St Pauli, guiding the club from near the bottom of Bundesliga 2 to division winners in 2024. Initially joined St Pauli in 2020 as Assistant and was appointed Head Coach in December 2022 on an interim basis, before taking over permanently later that month. Came through the youth ranks with Bayern Munich, representing their second team, as well as having stints with 1899 Hoffenheim II and FC Pippensreid.

Arrived with Hurzeler in July 2024, having previously been assistant at Augsburg since 2017. Before that was manager of German lower-league side SV Waldeck-Obermenzing.

Daniel Niedzkowski
Assistant
Previously led provision of the Pro Licence for the German FA (DFB) – which is how he knows Hurzeler (who was one of his students). Prior to joining DFB in 2016 he was Head Coach of Germany’s U21s and Assistant at Bayer Leverkusen.

Re-joined club in July 2019 as an over-aged U23 player. Then became U21s Head Coach and was interim first-team manager when Graham Potter left for Chelsea (although he didn’t actually take charge of a game). Stayed on staff under De Zerbi and is a “conduit” between U21s and first team.

Yannick Euvrard
Set Piece Coach
Arrived in the summer of 2025 after two seasons doing the same job for Belgian top flight club Anderlecht as part of the club’s data analysis and performance team. He had a short playing career as a right-back with Cercle Brugge, Waregem, Leuven and Roeselare and started his coaching career by joining the Belgian Football Association as a Senior Performance and Data Analyst in January 2019.

Jelle ten Rouwelaar
Goalkeeping Coach
Joined in July 2025 after working for half a season under Ruud van Nistelrooy at Leicester as Assistant Manager and Goalkeeping Coach. Spent two seasons at Burnley and then had short spells at both Ajax and Manchester United before joining the Foxes. Was also with Anderlecht and NAC Breda, where he worked with now Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen. Made nearly 500 senior appearances as a goalkeeper – nearly all of them for clubs in the Netherlands.

Was an analyst at Stuttgart for three years before a brief three-month spell as Head of Match Analysis at Ajax from July to September 2023. Joined Brighton with Hurzeler in July 2024.

Worked for Manchester United for 11 years, latterly as Head of Strength and Conditioning, before moving to the United States as Director of Sports Performance for FC Cincinnati in March 2019. Joined Brighton in summer of 2024. Took on responsibility for a unified performance and medical department after departure of Florian Pfab in December 2025.

Joined as an inter in July 2010. Made permanent a year later and worked for the Academy until being promoted to the first team in November 2015. Appointed to this new role in September 2019.

Worked for New Zealand Rugby for 14 years before joining Brighton in February 2026. Role involves “supporting the club’s long‑term commitment to building and sustaining elite performance” and remit encompasses “driving individual player development and enhancing an aligned high-performance culture across key departments.”
