Olofinjana appointed Technical Director of Grasshopper Zurich

WOLVES Loans Manager Seyi Olofinjana has been confirmed as the new Technical Director of Swiss side Grasshopper Zurich.
The 40-year-old Nigerian has a long association with Wolves, having played for them for four years before joining their staff in 2015. He was Under-23s boss for the club and then Loans and Pathways Manager from June 2018.
Olofinjana, who has completed the Masters in Sporting Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University, will oversee the whole football department at Grasshopper. One of his first jobs will be to appoint a new Head Coach.
The former midfielder takes over from interim Sports Director Jimmy Berisha, who is stepping back to his permanent role of Managing Director.
Olofinjana, who played 56 times for Nigeria, said: "I am happy to be part of a club with a history like Grasshopper. I hope together we can re-establish them at the top of the Super League."
