JOSHUA HOOK has been promoted to the new position of Physical Performance Manager by Brighton.

He was appointed after an external recruitment process and effectively replaces Tom Barnden, who was Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach before leaving to join Manchester City last month.

Hook joined Brighton as an S&C intern in July 2010 and rose through the ranks to become Lead Academy S&C and then first-team S&C/ sports scientist in November 2015.
