Cohesive Coaching: Now sold out!

THERE is just a week to go to Cohesive Coaching - an exclusive half-day event in Manchester featuring world-class practitioners Brian Ashton, Tony Strudwick, Dan Micciche and Martin Fairn - and all tickets have now been sold.

The event on June 20th will explore how the four corners - tactical, technical, physical and mental - can be incorporated into a single training session. It will be of interest whether you're working at a pro club, are an amateur coach, or just want to listen (and speak) to these four outstanding practitioners.

Cohesive Coaching will take place at This is The Space in Spinningfields, Manchester, from 2pm to 6pm on Wednesday June 20th. The presenter will be BBC broadcaster Andrew Lindsay. The format will be short presentations, followed by a panel discussion, audience Q&A and drinks and networking to finish.

PANELLISTS

Brian Ashton MBE

Brian is the last man to lead England to the final of the Rugby World Cup, in 2007. The achievement saw the Lancastrian awarded the MBE a year later. Ashton was the mastermind behind two of the great rugby attacks of all time - the Bath side of the 1990s and England from 2000 to 2002. His services are still highly in demand, with clients including Manchester United, the Premier League and the International Rugby Academy of New Zealand.

Dan Micciche

Dan is regarded as one of the most innovative young coaches in England. He was assistant Academy manager of the club from October 2007 to August 2013, playing a key role in the development of players including Dele Alli. Micciche went on to become England Under-16 coach, working with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Ryan Sessegnon and Angel Gomes. He was appointed MK Dons manager in January.

Tony Strudwick

Tony has been a practitioner for more than 20 years and is highly respected within the game. He was Head of Performance for Manchester United for 11 years and former first-team coach Rene Meulensteen described him as having been "instrumental" to the success achieved under Sir Alex Ferguson during that period. In March, Tony was appointed Head of Performance for Wales - a role which will see him reunited with United legend Ryan Giggs, who is now manager of the Principality.

Martin Fairn

Martin is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gazing Performance - a company that equips elite athletes and teams to perform under pressure. Gazing's stellar list of clients include the New Zealand All Blacks. Before starting Gazing two decades ago, Martin was General Manager of printing giant Xerox and also played rugby for Coventry and England Students.
